Somatic Psychotherapy

Integrative Somatic Psychotherapy includes the body, mind, emotion and energy of your system in the healing process. Traditional psychotherapy is combined with various mind-body exercises and modalities to support physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health.

 

Christine Milovani utilizes a client-centered, strength-based, compassion-focused and somatic approach to psychotherapy as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

A combination of the following somatic therapy approaches may be used in your session based on the clinical assessment of your needs from your therapist and with your permission: ​

Christine Milovani's Experience:

Christine Milovani, LCSW, SEP, has 28 years experience as a social worker in Madison, Wisconsin and surrounding areas. Throughout her social work career, she has focused on an integrative approach of psychotherapy, somatic therapies, eastern philosophy, health and spirituality.

 

Christine holds a safe and grounded space for healing, while approaching each person with genuine support, authenticity and an open-heart. Sessions are tailored for what is needed in the moment and a partnership is created to focus on healing the whole person.

Please note that clinical assessment, diagnosis and interventions are only offered within psychotherapy sessions, and only offered for Wisconsin residents due to state licensure.

You may choose to engage in Integrative Somatic Wellness sessions to support your health and wellbeing, if you are not interested in the psychotherapy approach.
