Christine Milovani is passionate about healing through the integration of Eastern and Western modalities.  By utilizing her skills in social work, counseling, spirituality and the healing arts, she offers sessions that are unique for each person. Sessions and classes with Christine offer a sense of peace and well-being that restore balance to the body, mind, emotions and spirit. Christine holds sacred space for healing with authenticity and an open heart. 


Christine offers Integrative Counseling for individual sessions, which include a combination of Counseling, Coaching, Meditation, Guided Imagery, Hypnotherapy, Somatic Experiencing, Reiki and Qigong. Her signature meditation, movement and qigong class is called "Inner Balance."

  


Education, Training and Experience:

Christine Milovani, MSW, LCSW, received her undergraduate degree in Social Work at Marquette University, and received her Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work at University of Wisconsin-Madison.  Christine is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist and Certified Reiki Master Teacher. Christine has worked as a Medical and Clinical Social Worker in Hospital and Clinic settings, Emergency Services, Behavioral Health and Wellness, Inpatient Psychiatry and Mental Health Services.  Christine excels at heart-centered patient care while improving the efficiency and effectiveness of health care systems.
Utilizing her skills in social work, counseling, spirituality and the healing arts, Christine created her business and private practice, Healing & Balance LLC.  She has been coordinating and facilitating groups, workshops, retreats and conferences for over 20 years in the areas of Personal Development, Health and Spirituality.  Christine is committed to supporting a collaborative relationship with medical professionals, and acts as a mentor for medical students, residents and fellows working within the UW-Madison Integrative Medicine Department. 
Christine Milovani, LCSW, received her undergraduate degree in Social Work at Marquette University, and received her Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work at University of Wisconsin-Madison.  Christine has also worked as a Medical and Clinical Social Worker in various settigns: hospital, inpatient psychiatry, emergency services, outpatient clinic, behavioral health, and wellness centers. Currently she is employed at SSM Health Monroe Clinic Behavioral Health as a psychotherapist.  

Lotus
In 2000 she founded her private practice,   Healing & Balance LLC focusing on Complementary and Integrative Health services. Christine has been coordinating and facilitating groups, workshops, retreats and conferences for 25+ years in the areas of Personal Development, Health and Spirituality. 


Christine excels at heart-centered patient care while improving the efficiency and effectiveness of health care systems. She worked in partnership with VHA Office of Patient Centered Care and Cultural Transformation and other strategic partners for the Whole Health Clinical Education Program. As a core faculty member, author, and Program Manager for the clinical education course, she helped develop and facilitate the Whole Health curriculum to over 2000 clinicians and leaders at 40+ VHA facilities over four years.

Christine is committed to supporting a collaborative relationship with health and education professionals offering mentoring for teachers, graduate students, nurses, social workers, medical students, residents and fellows who are interested in Complementary and Integrative Health. Christine holds a long-term vision for a paradigm shift toward health and wholeness for individuals and systems.

Just for Fun:

Christine enjoys living a healthy lifestyle in the country with her husband, David.  She is surrounded by wise friends, mentors and teachers who help her mind, heart and spirit grow equally.  She loves movement and dancing, and considers qigong a way to dance with energy.


Together they enjoy cooking together with locally grown food from their own garden. Recently they have been growing herbs for tea and medicinal tinctures. Christine's favorite vacations have been in Hawaii, Japan, Costa Rica, Arizona, and Utah.
